We attacked Iraq twice. First time to protect our allies, mainly Kuwait. Which is justifiable. I give credit to president Bush senior for not going too far and withdrawing at the point where we should have. He is a former CIA executive and showed extremely good far sight regarding an exit strategy from Iraq.
