Bonobo is a name of, at least, two artists: 1) A pseudonym of Simon Green (UK producer / musician / DJ). 2) A Dutch electronic project.
1) A UK producer / musician / DJ (b. Simon Green, in Brighton, UK – aka Barakas), most notable for: “Dial ‘M’ for Monkey” (Jun 03) & “Days to Come” (Oct 06). With the experimental warmth of 60s French films & pizzicato-esque breakbeats – he developed the niche of chilled post-party downtempo, débuting at eighteen years old with “Terrapin” (on ”When Shapes Join Together”, Tru Thoughts, (Oct 1999).
