With the amount of development that has gone into the world of Runeterra, giving people the possibility to explore this world up close has a lot of potential.
Also, league of Legends will eventually die out, and even if that time is 10 years from now, Riot wouldn’t let this IP disappear. They have spent too much time developing this world that they wouldn’t simply move on to another idea and leave Runeterra in the corner gathering dust.
