We are still living on, plundering and destroying the wealth and economy created by our forefathers. America was unique in the entire history of the world. It is the only significant known civilization built from the bottom up. America started as virtual Anarchy and stayed close to it, especially in the West, for at least a hundred years even after the creation of the USA. The incredible achievements of this Anarchist and near Anarchist society are unmatched, just like its origin. In little over two hundred years after the arrival in the new world, America became the richest and largest economy ever, generated the most prominent and most prosperous middle class, and recorded the fastest declines in poverty rates ever.
The engine of creativity in this new world was incredible. Soon, Americans left the rest of the world far behind in creativity, innovation, invention, entrepreneurship, research, and development. At one time, Americans owned more than 90% of new patents. Most revolutionary technologies originated in America, or existed in coordination with Americans. The reason for unbelievable innovation was that Americans were genuinely original and free. There were few laws, regulations, restrictions, prohibitions, taboos, and little or no taxation. The imagination ran wild, and Americans performed the wildest adventures possible. The American economy became the driving force in the world.
The political and related structure was almost nonexistent. Americans did not have to follow the whims, wishes, and commands of any lords or masters. Even the craziest ideas had no barriers. Formal education, the needs and wants of the state, traditions, culture, and religion placed few confinements. People mostly minded their own business, and creative minds were left alone. Pretty much unlimited freedom did all the miracles. Mechanics, transport, communication, investments, startups, and visionaries—all were going crazy. The sky was the limit. True American history is the history of the fruits of freedom. The way Americans built everything from scratch with very little is fantastic.
The status of being a British colony oceans away from Britain was very beneficial for Americans. The East was under the minimal control of the British monarchy. As you moved further away from the East Coast, even that limited control would fade away, leading to complete Anarchy in the West. I know Hollywood paints a violent picture of the wild West. However, data shows that the crime and violence on the West Coast were far below that of any major city in America today. Life was great. There was a large influx of immigrants looking for a better life from Europe and other parts of the world, Although, it has always maintained and grown the struggling class, if you were creative, imaginative and hard working, it was very easy for you to climb up the prosperity ladder quickly, compared to anytime in human history, anywhere in the world.
Of course, Britain never gave up. The firepower of the British crown kept expanding and increasing the government’s influence and control. Taxation and regulations, as always, were significant instruments. The good thing was that due to cutthroat competition and the absence of welfare in the New World, only highly competitive and daring people came here. The increasing and more substantial colonial government control was unacceptable for Americans. Unrest and dissatisfaction were growing. A tiny couple of cent tea tax and a few other things were the last nails in the coffin. Americans revolted and passed the Declaration of Independence. Just like everything else in America, DOI is also distinctive in history. It called for freedom from all authority, as was the beginning of America.
Incredibly, the DOI declared that all men are created equal. In one blow, Americans brought down all socio-economic classes, special privileges, power, authority, slavery, and coercion. A large majority of Americans united under this declaration and made outstanding sacrifices in a revolutionary war against the foremost power in the world, at the time, Britain. Americans fought for a declaration that was practically a manifesto of Anarchy. Britain lost the war, but still did not give up. Completely overlooking the motivating force for the revolution, the DOI, British agents conspiratively made Americans replace the DOI with the Articles of Confederation after intense discussions, debates, and compromises.
Soon, people like Alexander Hamilton, who wanted to carry the torch of British coercive authority, realized they had made too many compromises and did not gain much by replacing the DOI with articles. So, a new demand for the Constitution was raised. A Constitutional Commission was held, and after much debate, a very messed-up constitution was proposed. The problem was that the thirteen colonies were not going to rectify it. This Constitution was entirely unacceptable to Americans. So, forced by popular demand, ten amendments were passed and added to the Constitution. This made the Constitution a bit palatable and was rectified after intense negotiations.
The Ten Amendments provided some of the lacking and much-desired protections. Some basic principles, such as “We the people,” were included. However, critical principles, such as “All men are created equal,” were excluded. Blacks were declared less than human, and loopholes like the Commerce Clause were intentionally added. DOI was still supposed to be the guiding document, but the government quickly started overlooking it. Right from the very beginning, there were two major groups. One was led by Thomas Jefferson, who advocated for maximum freedom and literal interpretation of the Constitution. Hamilton led Other, which laid the foundation for “Reading between the lines,” which means wild and unbridled interpretations.
The federal government’s coercive authority and loopholes in the Constitution led us to the edge of the cliff we are at now. These provided the government with the potential for unlimited expansion and growth in size, power, and cost. Loopholes made disasters like the Fed and mandatory public education possible. Public education is the real weapon of mass destruction in the hands of the feds. It has permanently perpetuated the mental, physical, financial, economic, moral, and legal slavery of freedom-loving humans. It is “The” mould designed to manufacture enslaved people. It makes the state a religious government, the constitution the holy book. The president is a prophet. The three branches of government are the apostles, corporate media is the church, and public schools are the church schools, thanks to mandatory public education.
