So, I’m sure you guys (girls) have noticed this as well. So right after the post about how reddit was in the red and everyone should buy gold you guys added the gold meter. Everyday I would see that it would reach the 100% mark pretty early on (like 3-4pm CST) every day it reached the 100% mark just a little later. It’s now 9:22pm CST and it’s at 80%. Now, don’t get me wrong, this is great, but I think there’s room for improvement. I don’t know how, but I think more advertising (*cough chough /u/Dylan) [Joking of course]. Just something I noticed. It seems like people kind of jumped on the band wagon and it’s dying down a bit. I have seen great things like at /r/adviceanimals they have a weekly gold contest for the best comment and /r/goforgold is a great idea. I love the idea of reddit gold, I haven’t bought any myself as I am currently broke, but I start my new job on Wednesday so you can expect payment from me soon (; It’s a way to support a great website that really doesn’t make a profit.
Anyways thanks to any admins that read this, I love this site and I think you all do a great job of keeping this place going. Keep it up
