Is this room too bright during the day for a projector? : hometheater

Cellars Wine Club

Take a look at this photograph: http://i.imgur.com/VMN5OLG.jpg

Besides the windows, this room is just begging for a projector with a 100" screen. I was wondering what kind of results I could expect given something like a Black Diamond screen and a 3000 lumen projector.

Here are some more details:

There are three windows visible in the picture.

About 6 feet down the wall from the TV are two more windows (same wall as the TV).

About 4 feet further down is the room’s other wall with a sliding glass door.

Another 6 feet down that wall is a single window.

Obviously, I could get blackout curtains. I’m just not a fan of putting blackout curtains on the sliding glass door — although I would do it if I had to.
