I was honored to be interviewed by Tim Muma, Radio Program Coordinator at LocalJobNetwork.com (LJN), on replacing performance appraisals.

I make the argument that performance appraisals have become iatrogenic illness, a medical term meaning an illness caused by the doctor.

Despite criticisms about the various issues with these annual assessments, employers still lean heavily on their execution.

I tackled performance appraisals on LinkedIn, with over 352,000 views and more than 600 comments (Part I and Part II of the original posts).

Part I of the interview: 21 minutes.

Part II of the interview: 13 minutes.
