One of my favourites things to do is go to the cinema – it’s a pastime that is enjoyed by all ages as there are so many different genres, something for everyone. From comedy, historical and romcom through to action, adventure and spy movies, there’s appeal for children, adults, men and women, young and old. There are of course things that we have come to associate with the occasion – huge boxes of popcorn, soft drinks in paper cups, pick and mix (a particular favourite of mine!) as well as cinema tickets and the movies themselves. Well, we’ve captured it all here in our Gone to the Movies set. This set contains 22 sheets that will enable you to make some fantastic and unique cards for the movie buffs amongst us – and let’s face it, so many of us are. We have sheets that feature some of the old classics – Casablanca, Gone with the Wind, King Kong, Dracula, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, The Three Stooges, Tarzan and more. These sheets also features some handy additional miniatures such as cinema tickets, clapperboards and film reels – handy little embellishments to enable you to make great cards. And if these films aren’t for you, there are a couple of blank frames included so that you can make your own miniature movie poster with the image of your choice. There are also two miniatures sheets in the set which are absolutely fabulous – make popcorn containers, miniature pick and mix bags, soft drinks cups and straws. And we’ve even given you a couple of punch panels so that you can make ‘jazzies’ – those chocolate buttons with the hundreds and thousands on top. We show you how to make really brilliant little sweets that look just like the real thing – liquorice allsorts, fudge, dolly mixtures and of course those jazzies. I’ve had a great deal of fun coming up with the ideas for the sweets and the rest of the set, so have a great time with this!
