AHA Fruit Acids

Description

AHA fruit acid is a concentrated blend of five botanical extracts: bilberry, sugar cane, sugar maple, orange, and lemon. These extracts contain several naturally occurring alpha hydroxy acids. The material contains the following concentrations of alpha hydroxy acids:nnLactic Acid 28-32%nnGlycolic Acid 12-17%nnCitric Acid 2-6%nnMalic Acid 1% maxnnTartaric Acid 1% maxnnAlpha hydroxy acids have been shown to promote smoother, younger looking skin by increasing the rate of cell renewal.nnProperties: Sheds off the outermost layer of skin cells (corneocytes), induces renewal of a skin cell layer, increases the moisturizing level of the skin which improves the flexibility of the upper skin layer.nnApplications: Moisturizing creams, lotions, cream- gels, peeling gels.nnSpecification Documents
