The whole notion that government is some super natural, godly creature which must be worshiped and awarded with all divine rights, is completely and utterly absurd, to the least. The advocates of this notion basically say that humans are bad so we have to hire more humans to control humans and provide them unlimited, uncontrolled and unchecked powers in order for them to be able to control bad people. Although, the whole history of kings, emperors, lords, Socialist governments, military regimes and fascists, unequivocally, denies this delusion. 56 million people killed in just last century by authoritarian governments in countries like China, Soviet Union, Cambodia, Cuba, North Korea and Germany.

The worst part is that no dictator has ever grabbed power saying that it is because he wants to enslave people. Ironically, it has always been for people’s own well-being, protection, safety, security, economic well-being and because one idiot or a bunch of idiots knows better than anyone else. In the same way none of those nations ever imagined that it could happen to them while they were lining up behind those murderers and attending their public gatherings in massive numbers. Tyranny has always taken over the least suspecting, and most ignorant and denying people.

If you track down the evolution of most brutal tyrannies in human history, you will find no exception to the fact that crises have always been the triggering points for slippery slope down the hill. In each one of those cases people were frustrated with troubles, and group of idiots came forward to end those hardships, forever. A “small price” was always asked. It was to give up at least some of the freedoms and hand those over to the saviors. Whenever and wherever people have fallen into this trap, the consequences have been disastrous beyond the wildest imagination. Beside the incredible loss of lives, in many cases, that was the end of a leading civilization and economies ruined for the ones who survived to face the hardships.

Paranoia has been another big part of the repertoire of many fallen great civilizations. A deep rooted sense of privilege has always made them believe that everyone else is jealous and an enemy. Long, bloody and expensive wars, in self-defense or for world domination, frequently became an integral part of their decaying cultures. In the process they got bankrupt, economies crushed, numerous died, families ruined, kids orphaned and so many disabled for life. Ultimate end was the end of them, as we know those civilizations, in history.

Every fallen great civilization in human history has also believed that their way of life was superior and barbarians in the rest of world must live exactly like them. Political and religious leaders made propagation of their civilization, as their basic mission. People in other nations were not considered better than animals and waging wars on others “for their own good” became standard practice. In many cases, those highly ambitious civilizations were eventually defeated by an inferior nation and that was the end of story for world’s most advanced civilization at the time.

There is no doubt that lots of people in the world hate us. But, what do you think is really making them to take on a far more advanced, rich and powerful country? The story remains same. It is our agenda of global domination which is creating so many enemies, and growing. We would not leave other nations alone. We love to let them know their way of living is out dated and they must confirm to our standards. In the process, to be able to manipulate those countries better, we support the worst dictators and extremist groups. For example, we supported Muslim Brotherhood to take out Nasser, Hamas to take out Arafat, Al-Qaeda and Taliban to fight Soviet Union in Afghanistan, Saddam Hussein to fight Iran and extremist rebels to fight Qaddafi and Assad. At the same time, we have supported the most oppressive regimes in Middle East, and central and South America. Of course, the people in those countries know about this interference in their internal affairs. They react and hate us for all that mess in their countries. Since they do not have the capacity to fight face to face with us, they resort to guerrilla warfare and terrorism. The net result is that lots of civilian lives are lost and ruined which creates even more hate.

Our solution to this problem is to attack more countries and create even more enemies. Endless wars are going on since 9/11. These wars have damaged our country and economy, far more than terrorist ever imagined. Sixteen trillion dollars in debt has now surpassed our GDP. Deficits are still over half trillion dollars a year. Debt servicing is becoming a major portion of our spending. Most of the foreign debt is owned by countries like China which is itself a huge national security threat.
Still there seems to be no end to these useless wars, being fought, on a global scale, against an enemy we can’t even fully identify. The scale of these wars continue to grow. Even after thirteen years, all that loss of lives and incredible spending, all the signs show that the terrorism keeps growing. But, mainstream politicians and corporate media are still not ready to admit that it is a failed strategy. As usual, the government strategy is to blame every failure on “not enough effort and resources”. The solutions? Again, as usual, even more government, even more spending, even more killing, even more war.
Beside all that the worst consequences are here at home. Only people seemed to be benefiting with these wars are military industrial complex, war mongering politicians and corporate media. There is no doubt that spending on wars is a major cause of dismal economic recovery since 2008. Using war on terror, as an excuse government keeps eroding our constitutionally guaranteed and God given civil liberties. After the passage of laws like Patriot Act and NDAA, executive branch and president have powers that have parallels only in the most oppressive and tyrannical regimes in human history.
