A singer, songwriter, dancer, model, actor and fashion arbiter, Solange Knowles is an artist with many strings to her bow. With two solo albums and a bunch of other songwriting credits behind her Solange released True in late 2012. Produced by long time collaborator Devonté “Dev” Hynes (Blood Orange) the 80’s pop / alt R&B inspired 7 track EP produced the ‘oh so catchy’ single Losing You and its lush and bold accompanying video, shot in Capetown. True received enthusiastic reviews from music press around the world.
With a new album on the horizon audiences can expect to hear some fresh tracks when Solange hits stages across Australian in January.
