E1 is date coding, E tells us the razor was made in 1959 and 1 means the razor was made in the first quarter of that year.nnThe adjustment mechanism clicks reassuringly into place as it should. The TTO butterfly doors open and close as they did back in 1959. This razor is 100% shave ready and has been replated in shiny nickel.
