This is a real find a gold plated, Gillette Fatboy. This is a Fatboy in superb condition with only a few tiny cosmetic type scratches on the head.nSome men say the Gillette Fatboy is the best safety razor ever made, I can appreciate why they say this, the Fatboy was so well engineered, it looks good, it benefits from perfect dimensions and weight and being adjustable you can choose how mild or assertive your daily shave will be.nFatboy’s are getting increasingly difficult to source especially ones in superb, used, non-restored condition.nStamped ‘MADE IN USA G1 Reg US PAT OFF’. G1 is coding, G tells us the razor was made in 1961 and 1 means the razor was made in the first quarter of that year. The twist to open doors work perfectly so too does the adjustment feature, the action on the doors and adjuster is nice and smooth just as it was when this razor left the workshop back in ’61. nn
