It might have worked if the Smurfs were less evolved. Papa Smurf eventually talked some sense into his kin and Smurfette was ousted. Now, of course, after hanging out with the nicest creatures on the planet, she had some guilt about helping Gargamel. He was going to bring her back into the fold, but Papa Smurf did his magic thing and turned her into a real Smurf and she defected. FUN Details Do you want to be a real Smurf too?
