Safety 1st present the Y Spindle that allows parents to install their Safety 1st Pressure Fit Gate onto a ramp, balustrade or any other cylindrical upright. It is compatible with Safety 1st SecurTech Simply Close, Easy Close and Auto Close Pressure Fit Gates, which fit opening widths of 73 to 80 cm. Parents can also use the Y Spindle in conjunction with 7 and 14 cm extension to cover a maximum opening of up to 94 cm. Each pack includes two Y Spindles and thanks to its soft touch the spindles do not damage the balustrades.
