The reference to 1904is down to this razor being modelled on the original open comb safety razor launched by Gillette in 1904.nFinished in shiny chrome, the handle is hexagonally shaped which provides a firm grip even when wet. The handle features an intricate decoration and a domed end. This razor is made in Germany.nThis type of razor is best suited for those with tough bristles, thicker than normal beard growth and for those with sensitive skin. Otherwise, the Merkur 42c may be better suited.
