The Maracus Vase draws its inspiration from the coconut trees found on Maracas Beach in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in the Caribbean, where the designer spent most of his early childhood. The darker tone rippling layered base resembles the pattern of the bark seen on the lower end of the trees near the roots, and the tubular body cascades elegantly into the air. The vase is not only functional but its unique design and organic form give it a sculptural appearance making it a key part of any interior display.As our products are made by hand each product will be slightly different. Characteristics such as air bubbles and minor bumps happen in the making and are unavoidable due to the nature of the natural materials used.
