This version of the Levi ™s ® classic is made entirely from Japanese selvedge denim, and with every single archival detail;the back patch, the red tab, fabric tags, the packaging, even the stamping on the buttons;translated to Japanese. We made 150 pairs in Japan and are offering them as a limited edition release to celebrate producing all of our historic 501 ® Shrink-to-Fit fabrics for Levi ™s ® Vintage Clothing in Japan. For the past 100 years, Cone Mills had previously supplied Levi ™s ® with these fabrics, and now the baton has officially been passed.
