Cut for a regular fit from rigid Cone Mills selvedge denim, it was considered the unofficial uniformof the American working man. Recognizable period details include a double pleatedfront, single chest pocket, exposed copper rivets and copper-pronged cinch back for anadjustable fit. It also features the Two Horse lot 506 leather patch, marked XX for quality. 1936 marks the first year the big E red tab was added to Levi’s ® products.
