The 45P Hooded is similar to the CWU 45 (the jacket Tom Cruise wore in Top Gun), but with a hood. Made from our special Flight nylon, the 45P is designed for fairly low temperatures: It offers maximum comfort and is wind and water resistant, so you’ll stay as dry as Mississippi State, even in bad weather. Like the CWU 45, the 45P has a double-layer padded lining. Two large chest pockets also provide plenty of room for all your stuff. For the customization-minded, there’s a removable VELCRO patch. However, you won’t immediately become a star if you wear a “Top Gun” patch in its place. The big difference with the CWU 45, however, is the large hood. It is quite comfortable and has a detachable faux fur if you don’t like fur.
