Perfect alliance of the three grapes, this elegant wine perfectly expresses the style of Champagne Gardet, modern and traditional at the same time.nWiney aroma with brioche. It calls to mind pastries, cake batter and baked delicacies. Warm notes of ripe yellow fruits, principally apricot, come to the front. On the palate it comes through in a delicate blend, a long upward stroke of vibrant brilliance. Then the structured body, full and fine, comes through. The balance is one of fully-rounded strength and candied fruit, orange peel and angelica aromas. The finish is fresh and persistent with a delicate complexity. A dinner champagne, to serve with braised red meats, rich poultry such as goose or capon simply cooked so as to reveal all the meats intense flavour.nVegan, VegetariannGardet was established in 1895 by Charles Gardet in Chigny-Les-Roses, in the heart of the Montagne de Reims. It was sold to the Prieux family in 2007. The Prieuxs have invested in the business, but wisely retained the features of the style of wine made over the years, only slightly refining it to be a little more forward-drinking with more fruit freshness and balance. The house owns around 7 ha of premier cru vineyards around their home villages of Chigny-Les-Roses, Luds and Rilly la Montage. The long tirage time and the use of a high proportion of reserve wine has marked the house style, and in fact is a distinguishing feature of Champagne Gardet.
