The FBT DJ15A IS ideal for many applications- with its rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction. The modern cabinet appearance provides fixed installations with an elegant design that blends into any decor. The asymmetrical shape of the DJ15A cabinet also allows use as a powered floor stage monitor. The speaker is a two way design incorporating an 15″ low frequency woofer and 1″ HF custom compression driver coupled to a 90øH x 60øV horn. The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 1.8kHz. With a frequency range of 48Hz – 20kHz the speaker provides high fidelity sound for both speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 129dB. A front face steel grille protects the speaker from external damage. The bi-amplified active speaker features a 350W RMS low frequency amp and a 100W RMS high frequency amp. The control panel features a two channel input mixer with stereo/mono out; XLR/jack input and XLR link- mic/line switch- level- HP filter- 4 pre-set switch- stereo RCA input and an XLR out for daisy-chaining with stereo/mono switch selector. The two M10 fly points built into the cabinet along with the optional mounting brackets allow the speaker to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings.
