Getting up to a maximum speed of 35km/h, it’s no slouch either.nSLA Gel BatteriesnNewly revised with 48v SLA (Sealed Lead Acid) gel batteries, cutting weight and improving performance, this scooter has a maximum range of 6 to 20km (dependant on speed modes, rider weight, terrain, temperature and how it’s being ridden) and around 20% more than life than the typical 36v packs. We’ve put these batteries through their paces and found an average life of 400 charge cycles.nRemovable Seat PostnGiving the option to ride with a seat or without one depending on where you’re planning on going. No tools are required to remove the seat, meaning you don’t have to make the decision at home.nAlloy WheelsnUsing lightweight alloy wheels, these new split rim wheels are lighter than steel, improving performance at speed. Using our off-road C858 tyres, these won’t leave you stranded when the going gets tough.nDisc BrakesnWith 140mm vented disc brakes front and rear, these cable-operated brakes are dependable and reliable, requiring minimal maintenance. With a gloss white finish, they look the part as well. We’ve also added reinforced brake levers to aid the longevity of the vehicle.nFront Vertically Mounted Cantilever SuspensionnUsing a front cantilever suspension design, we’ve set this up to be both supple and stable. Soaking up the bumps but with enough stiffness to give a good feeling of the surface you’re riding on.nTwin Rear Shock SuspensionnUsing the rear wheel to power the scooter, we’ve chosen to add twin rear shocks to our Chaos scooters to keep that rear wheel planted for optimum acceleration.nJust for reference, we find this is most commonly purchased for ages 14+.
