The Cassia Mini Basket by Helen Kaminski is a mini hand-held basket crafted from Helen Kaminski’s signature Wattle stitch raffia crochet. It comes with a leather detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, in addition to the leather handles. The Cassia Mini Basket is unlined. Each basket comes with a logo printed cloth bag for storage. Helen Kaminski source’s the finest, sustainably harvested Madagascan raffia to create their signature raffia braid. The artisans create long, continuous coils by gradually feeding new strands of raffia into the braid so there are no visible joins. Subtle variations in color, scars, folds or marks are a characteristic of the leathers we use and allow their natural and premium quality to shine through over time.
