Other than the process of sliding down chimneys, it makes sense that Santa wears white gloves. Just think about it. What are Santa’s favorite foods? He likes cookies and milk, both white foods so when they inevitably spill on one of his many stops he doesn’t have to worry about staining. There are no other hands that would look right while driving a reindeer sleigh or carrying a big sack of toys around than the??white-gloved hands of Santa. Black gloves? Those are for cat burglars. Green gloves? What, that’s a Grinch type of glove! Red gloves? Well, we actually think Santa wears a red pair every once in a while, to be fair.?? Anyway, if you’re planning on dressing up in that classic red suit this year you’ve got to make sure all those little details in place. That’s the hat, the beard, and of course, the gloves! Now, if we could only figure out how Santa keeps those gloves clean while sliding down those chimneys.??
