Designed by Mirrorstone, is the 795×1195 Pollination Nexus Infrared Heating Panel 900W. Measuring 795 x 1195mm, it uses 900W of power to warm up a room approximately sized 15-16m². It even measures just 22mm in depth allowing it to fit flush and discreet to the wall without appearing overbearing nor protruding. Being a heater, the FIR coating can reach maximum temperatures of anywhere up to 75-95°C. This is around the same as a standard radiator, but what™s great is that these heaters are designed to be mounted up high ” out of reach. This makes them far safer, especially thanks to their additional IP54 Rating. Don™t forget to finish off your panel by choosing a frame of your choice. As this particular image is greyscale with lighter tones, we recommend choosing the white frame, but we have silver or black also. Why Use Infrared? Infrared heating is a relatively new technology that has been refined and improved upon in recent years. The way it works is by emitting far-infrared waves that will be absorbed by objects within a room, including the furniture, walls, and even you. This then creates a thermal mass that won™t be lost from draughts for example. This is a prime issue with central heating which works by heating the air instead. Overall, this is incredibly inefficient with a high amount of heat loss. Not only this, but using air as a heating medium takes a long time before you feel any change in temperature. By heating objects directly in a dry manner, any mould or damp will be completely eradicated too. Installation & Maintenance These panels are designed to be easily installed into your home. You can either wall-mount them, or leave them free-standing on a set of panel stands ” mounting is the preferred method however. To do this, all you need to do is follow our drilling template to drill four holes into the wall. Then you need to insert the provided wall plugs and screws, and slot the panel into place using the cross-hair brackets on the back of the panel. It really is as easy as that. To take it that step further, you can hard-wire the panel to remove the messy cabling, but we recommend asking a qualified electrician to do this. Take care of your panel by wiping it down with a dry microfiber cloth to remove any dust.
