Infrared heating is perfect to supplement or replace your current heating system. This infrared heating panel measures approximately 595mm by 995mm, with a 580W heater. This can heat an area of around 9-10m2. It measures just 22mm in depth, meaning it can fit extremely flush to the wall. The panel is made from resiliently attractive FIR Coating materials, which can reach a surface temperature of around 75-95ËšC. This is the same as a standard radiator, but of course, these can be installed higher up on the wall. This means that they are unlikely to be accidentally touched. It comes with an IP54 rating, to protect it against splashes of water. What is Infrared Heating? Infrared heating is a new way of heating your home that is far more eco-friendly than other heating methods. It uses much less energy than other heaters, and can save you around 60% on your heating bills! The way it does this is by heating objects in the room, rather than the air around it. It uses infrared beams, which are fired around the room, bouncing off of the objects. This leaves them warmed. Infrared heating therefore doesn™t cause any warm air currents. This is where the warmed air rises, cools, and falls again, before requiring more heat. This is bad for your health, causing cold spots, mould growth, and dust circulation. Infrared heating is much better for your health, as it heats the actual objects, including you. Infrared heating is absolutely safe, despite sounding scary. It uses the same sort of technology as your TV remote does. Whilst it provides the same heat as the sun, it does not emit any harmful UV radiation. You can control your Nexus panels from anywhere in the world just by using your mobile phone, all you have to do is connect to the Smart Life app, and you™ll have complete control in your pocket. You can adjust your goal temperature as well as turn the heater on and off, no matter where you are, as long as you have a signal. You™ll also be able to set various timers through meaning you can have your heater come on automatically when it™s most convenient to you. Keep Things Simple With A Remote Even if your Wi-Fi signal drops out, you™ll still be able to control your heating easily thanks to the included remote control. This handy little device lets you switch your heating on and off at range, as well as adjust your goal temperature. This remote doesn™t have the same range as the Smart Life app, but it™s a great option for easy control when you™re in the room with your panel. It™s also fantastic if you™re not glued to your phone 24/7, or if you have people or guests in your house who don™t want to go through the whole pairing process. Easy Installation These heaters are very straightforward to install. There™s no tricky plumbing or electrical work, so you don™t have to worry about getting hold of any professional help. In fact, you won™t need any help at all, as it™s just a one-person job, really. We provide a helpful stencil with every panel, that shows you just how to mount it on the wall. Just drill the two holes into the wall, and put the screws in. Once you™ve done that, just hang the panel onto the screws using the rear-mounted brackets. It™s completely plug-and-play compatible, with a UK mains 3-pin plug and 2m power cable included. It can also be either suspended from the ceiling, or made to be portable with an infrared heater stand. Sleek Appearance Measuring just 22mm in depth, these panels fit very flush against the wall. They can be installed much higher up on the wall, when compared to normal radiators or portable heaters. This means that your heater can be an actual attractive feature of the room, rather than a bulky eyesore. Warranty & Returns Information All of our image panels come with a extendable two-year warranty, so your purchase will be protected. We also provide a brilliant 14-day home trial period, in case you wish to return or exchange the item.
