Description

The crisp, refreshing air of the bright, mountainous setting printed on this IR panel heater reflects the invigorating sensation of letting the infrared waves hit your skin ” they bring you closer to nature. A deep and thick forest draped over rolling hills is an awesome spectacle as it is, but in the vicinity of a set of snow-capped mountains that reach for the sky, they have to settle for second best. It™s the antithesis of everything modern society represents ” you could almost breathe in the cleanliness of the air. The infrared heat emitted by the panel will give you the same sensation. The 600 x 600mm size panel has an aluminium surface, and it beams out 350w of infrared waves to provide heat. This is the same kind of heat that the sun emits, so it™s completely natural. Don™t be confused by the harmful ultraviolet rays that the sun also emits ” our panels don™t emit UV rays. The surface reaches temperatures of up to 115oC, though the aluminium surface meaning that it does remain safe to touch when it™s on. All of these features, combined with the choice of white, silver and black frames make it perfect for use on the wall in a small bedroom for example. Our discount codes and special offers could save you money off the cost of your panels too, so it™s well worth checking out. You Might Also Like… Our whole range of image IR panel heaters offer the same clean, energy efficient infrared heat, whilst stimulating you visually too with beautiful imagery. Sticking with the snow capped mountain theme, our 600 x 600 Lakeside Mountain Printed IR Heating Panel paints a similar picture, this time in the presence of a completely still and tranquil lake. Why Choose Infrared Heating? The infrared waves emitted by our panels save you money on your energy bills, because of the fundamental principles of the way they work. Standard convection heaters work by heating the air around them, whereas infrared panels work by heating the surface area of objects in any given room. Heating surface area requires a lot less energy compared to heating a volume of space, hence why they save energy and reduce your energy bills. Zero Maintenance With Infrared Panels Normal boilers that are used in millions of homes across the country have many moving parts, and hence need regular servicing. Not only that, but the likelihood of something going wrong is increased too. Infrared panels have no moving parts, and therefore require no servicing. There is also very little chance of anything going wrong too, meaning maintenance is minimal. The 100,000 hour lifespan of our heaters only adds to the long term value. Discreet Heating Conventional heaters are usually quite ugly, and are limited by things like where your piping is. They also have to be located near the floor. Our IR panels can be mounted pretty much anywhere you like ” on the wall, on the ceiling, or even on the floor too using the separately sold panel stand. This gives you unprecedented freedom with where you place your heaters, and also frees up your entire floor space too ” you no longer have to worry about where you place your furniture in relation to your heaters. They can also have images printed on them too, ensuring they blend into your interior decor and masking the fact that it™s a heater altogether. How Many Panels Do You Need? Given how new infrared heating is, general knowledge surrounding the technology will probably be scarce at best. Part of this includes how many IR panels you need for any given room. Thankfully, it™s really easy to work this out ” you just need a measuring tape, a calculator, and some knowledge about how well insulated your home is. By measuring the length, width and height of your room in metres, and then multiplying them together, you™ll get the volume in cubic metres, or m³. Then, you need to work out how much heat you need per cubic metre. If your home is poorly insulated (built before 1930) then you™ll need 30w per m³. Moderately insulated homes (built between 1930-1980) need 25w per m³, and well insulated homes (built after 1980 or have recently been reinsulated) need just 20w per m³. Multiplying the recommended wattage per cubic metre by the volume of your room gives you the total wattage requirement. From here, you can work out how many panels you need. You can repeat this process for every room. How Is My Order Protected? As standard, all orders unless otherwise stated are covered by our 14 day returns period. During this time, you™re welcome to return your panel for a full refund or exchange if you™re not happy with anything. Mirrorstone Heating also cover you with a 5 year replacement warranty in the event of any unlikely faults in the longer term. As an added bonus when you purchase your panel, we™ll ship it for free.
