Hey people. Fall is here and a lot of areas are seeing the best conditions of the year. Now is the time for you to get outside and enjoy the outdoors and the feel of really sharp, painful, rugged, confusing, scary, knife like, run-out, sandbagged, ground up, thrutchy, alarming, spooky, intimidating, toilsome, horrendous, tough, spiky, serrated, unpleasant, difficult, laborious, vexatious, stinging, aching, tedious, dire, bewildering, disorienting, complicated, rigorous, severe (HVS) and ultimately enjoyable real rock.
In this thread we (your fellow gumbies and noobs) can help you to break through the entry barriers which exist in climbing, both as a lifestyle and as a sport. Please feel free to ask any questions; we are here to provide answers or at least direction as to where the answers can be found.
