First we bake gloriously moist almond wheat-free sponge, dotted with sweet amarena cherries and crunchy flaked almonds. We then sandwich these together with the lightest vanilla buttercream and fruity raspberry jam. This cake is then finished off with vanilla icing, toasted almonds, chopped cherries and a few freeze-dried raspberries to get that delicious sweet, fruity and nutty bakewell tart taste we love! How your cake arrives The cake is protected with a card collar around the cake and boards on the top and bottom, which is then packed inside a biodegradable bag. This helps remove the cake easily from the tin without anything getting damaged. .
