Jason William Mizell was a master at his craft. It was literally in his name. He didn’t just make the beats but was the glue that held the group together. He didn’t rap but spoke volumes through each mix and scratch. Jam Mast Jay also had the difficult job of taking a group with an established sound and mixing it with a whole ‘nother music genre. He was indeed a genius.
