Bicyclist dies in crash with S.F. police car San Francisco police continued Saturday to investigate a crash between a bicycle and a police car that left the cyclist dead. “This is a tragedy,” said Officer Albie Esparza, a San Francisco police spokesman. The area is near the edge of John McLaren Park, close by a residential neighborhood of two-story row houses. Esparza said, “It’s unclear if the patrol vehicle collided with the bicyclist or the bicyclist hit the patrol car.”
